Exciting News: Summit Park Church Is Growing With Lee's Summit
We are thrilled to share some incredible news! Drake Development has agreed to sell 5 acres of land adjacent to Summit Park Church, marking a monumental step forward for both our church and the Lee’s Summit community.
This incredible opportunity reflects God’s abundant provision and His plans for the future of Summit Park. This land isn’t just a property—it’s a foundation for ministry expansion, a space to strengthen relationships, and a place for our community to gather and grow in faith.

Building Together: The Forward 2.0 Capital Campaign
In October 2024, we launched the Forward 2.0 Capital Campaign with the goal of raising $2,400,000 to fund this exciting land acquisition. While we initially aimed to close the acquisition by December 2024, due to city plotting requirements, we are now on track to finalize the process early this spring.
We firmly believe God’s timing is perfect, and this delay is a blessing in disguise. By postponing the loan, we will save thousands on interest payments, allowing us to be even greater stewards of God’s resources. God is truly at work!
In the short term, this new land will provide much-needed parking space for our growing congregation. Looking ahead, it will enable Summit Park Church to expand our ministry and outreach efforts, helping us to serve the Lee’s Summit community in even greater ways.
