The Facility Supervisor at Summit Park Church is responsible for ensuring that all church facilities are operationally ready and maintained to the highest standards for services and events. This role involves leadership and management of the church’s systems, processes, and resources. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, experience with contract labor coordination, and the ability to empower team members.
 
Facilities Responsibilities:

• Maintain all facilities to ensure a clean and well-maintained appearance.
• Supervise custodial and grounds staff.
• Manage contractors for ongoing maintenance and repairs of grounds and facilities.
• Ensure custodial duties are performed as scheduled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Oversee and coordinate facility maintenance tasks, including HVAC servicing, repainting high-traffic areas, carpet cleaning, ice machine upkeep, and water filter replacement.
• Manage special facility projects as required.
• Ensure necessary supplies for ministry functions, cleaning, and general operations are ordered and stocked appropriately.
• Supervise the setup and teardown for events and services.
• Oversee repairs of facility equipment such as vacuums and furniture.
• Conduct regular inspections of facility conditions and grounds.
• Provide hands-on maintenance, grounds cleanup, and organization as needed.
• Maintain and update banner signage.

 
Ministry Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and develop an operations team for facility support.
• Create and manage the operations team schedule and collaborate with ministry leaders to ensure adequate support. 

 
Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, construction, or maintenance.
• Proficiency with tools and a solid understanding of basic construction principles.
