DAY 25

CHRISTMAS DAY

But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.
-Galatians 4:4-5

PAUSE
Today is the day! It’s Christmas! As we celebrate with our loved ones by spending time together and opening gifts, don’t forget to think about our Savior.

DISCUSSION
What do you think is meant when Paul says, “the set time had fully come” for Jesus to be born?
What do you think is meant when Paul says Jesus was, “born under the law to redeem those under the law?”
What are the implications of being adopted to sonship as a child of God?

Christmas Day is a celebration and reminder of our Savior. Jesus is God’s son whom He gave to us as a gift.

Merry Christmas!

PRAY
Dear God, Thank You for giving me access to you through your son Jesus. Help me remember that Jesus is the reason we celebrate Christmas Day.
