CAMPUS PASTOR

Position Title: Campus Pastor
Status: Full-Time, Salaried
Supervisor: Lead Pastor

Overview:
The Campus Pastor is the primary leader at a campus of Summit Park Church. They are responsible for the comprehensive oversight and management of the campus's ministry. They play a pivotal role in fostering volunteer connections and recruitment, providing pastoral care, supporting campus small groups, assisting in connections events, and aiding staff in developing leaders in Discipleship and Hospitality. This individual is expected to demonstrate a deepening relationship with God and a commitment to facilitating spiritual growth in others.

Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership & Decision-Making: Lead with a focus on church unity and organizational alignment, making informed decisions that promote the mission and vision of Summit Park Church.
• Community Building: Foster and enhance a sense of community within the campus, seeking innovative ways to engage and connect with congregants.
• Culture of Invitation: Promote and encourage a culture that actively invites individuals to services and events.
• Strategic Growth: Develop and implement strategies to grow the campus both spiritually and numerically.
• Volunteer Engagement: Identify, support, and empower attendees to increase their involvement and impact within the campus.
• Event Oversight: Facilitate and oversee the planning and execution of campus events and services, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Facility Management: Ensure the cleanliness, functionality, and logistical aspects of campus facilities are maintained to a high standard.
• Administrative Oversight: Manage campus administration, including the implementation of church goals, initiatives, and budgets specific to the campus.
• Pastoral Care: Provide pastoral care as needed, addressing the spiritual and emotional needs of the campus community.
 
Duties:
• Conduct weekly meetings with the Campus Lead Team to review previous services and strategize for leadership development.
• Hold pre-service meetings with the Lead Team to discuss upcoming services and engage in prayer.
• Collaborate weekly with the Tech Director to ensure all technical needs are met for weekend services.
• Coordinate with the Worship Director to ensure smooth transitions and readiness for weekend services.
• Prepare and submit a one-page report every Monday to the Directional Leadership Team, detailing the previous week’s services and any significant updates.
• Build and maintain relationships with key individuals at the campus, including leaders, influencers, and major contributors.Expectations:
• Demonstrate a growing personal relationship with Christ.
• Regularly participate in a small group.
• Maintain appropriate boundaries in both personal life and ministry to protect personal character and integrity.
• Contribute faithfully to the ministry of Summit Park Church, including a commitment to giving 10% of gross income.
• Seek out and pursue opportunities to reach and engage those who are distant from God.
