CAMPUS PASTOR

Full-Time Salary

The Campus Pastor serves as the primary leader and shepherd of a Summit Park Church campus, ensuring the vision, values, and culture of Summit Park Church are fully lived out locally. This role champions spiritual growth, relational connection, and operational excellence at the campus through leadership development, pastoral care, and exceptional ministry execution. The big win for this role is a thriving campus where people are taking next steps in following Jesus, leaders are growing, and the campus is growing in health and influence within the community.
 
Key Responsibilities: 

Leadership & Campus Culture 
  • Champion the Summit Park Church vision, values, and weekend experience 
  • Cultivate a culture of invitation, serving, giving, and life change 
  • Actively build community, relationships, and belonging at the campus 
  • Lead with church unity and organizational alignment 
  • Identify and empower leaders, encouraging ownership and involvement

Weekend Services & Events 
  • Oversee the quality and execution of weekend services and campus events 
  • Provide leadership presence before, during, and after services to create a welcoming and pastoral environment 
  • Ensure readiness and functionality of facilities, tech, signage, and logistics 
  • Partner with Creative, Worship, and Production teams to deliver excellent experience 

Pastoral Care & Discipleship 
  • Provide pastoral support including prayer, counseling, hospital visitation, and crisis care as needed 
  • Support assimilation: helping people connect in groups, serve teams, outreach, and discipleship opportunities 
  • Celebrate spiritual milestones such as decisions for Christ, baptisms, and next steps 

Operational Oversight 
  • Oversee campus administration responsibilities including communication flow, attendance reporting, and processes 
  • Steward the campus budget and resources with wisdom and accountability 
  • Ensure safety, security, and compliance with church policies and procedures 
  • Maintain a high standard of facility care, hospitality, and operational excellence 

Growth & Community Engagement 
  • Strategically lead toward spiritual and numerical growth 
  • Support outreach and campus-specific initiatives that engage the local community 
  • Represent the church within the community to build trust and visibility 

Required Skills & Competencies 
  • Ability to lead and influence leaders 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution ability 
  • Attention to detail and strong administrative abilities 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and database systems (preferred) 

Education & Experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • High school diploma required 

Expectations
  • Available for ministry activities two weeknights plus First Wednesday 
  • Demonstrate an active and growing personal walk with Jesus 
  • Regular participation in a small group 
  • Maintain healthy life and ministry boundaries to protect character 
  • Practice biblical generosity through tithing 
  • Actively seek opportunities to reach those far from God
