Part Time / Hourly (20 hours average per week)

The role of the Kids Coordinator is to support the Kids Ministry at Summit Park Church, helping create a safe, Jesus-centered, and fun environment for children from Early Childhood through Elementary. This position requires strong communication skills with parents, kids, serve team members/leaders, and first-time guests. It also requires creativity, strategic thinking, and a friendly, welcoming personality. The big win for this role is to help coordinate volunteers and ministry systems that support a healthy, thriving Kids Ministry.

Responsibilities

• Help oversee Early Childhood and Elementary environments during services  
• Coordinate volunteers for services and events (rostering and scheduling) 
• Help recruit, onboard, and support new volunteers 
• Help with ongoing training and support for volunteers and serve team leaders 
• Help monitor and maintain appropriate classroom capacities 
• Ensure classrooms are prepared and ready for services 
• Support curriculum setup and materials for classrooms 
• Help plan and execute every Summit Park Kids event throughout the year.
