Position Summary 
The Production Director leads and oversees all technical and production elements for worship services, events, and ministries at Summit Park Church. This role ensures high‑quality audio, video, lighting, and live‑stream production while recruiting, training, and empowering volunteers to serve with excellence and unity.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
 
Videography

• Oversee all production aspects of weekly worship services (audio, video, lighting, live stream, projections)
• Collaborate with pastors, worship leaders, and ministry leaders to plan and execute services and events
• Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor production and tech volunteers
• Manage and maintain production equipment, systems, and software at main and satellite campuses.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in live environments calmly and effectively
• Develop and document production workflows and best practices
• Prepare for and support special events, conferences, weddings, funerals, and seasonal services
• Manage production budgets, equipment purchases, and vendor relationships
• Ensure consistency, reliability, and excellence across all production environments

 
Qualifications and Skills:

• A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with the mission and values of Summit Park Church
• Experience in live production environments (church, theatre, concert, or broadcast)
• Working knowledge of audio mixing consoles, lighting systems, video switching, and live‑streaming technology
• Strong leadership and volunteer‑development skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Ability to remain flexible, calm, and solution‑oriented in fast‑paced environments

Preferred Experience

• Church production experience
• Experience with live streaming platforms and online service production
• Familiarity with Planning Center, ProPresenter, or similar software
• Basic understanding of media systems integration and signal flow
