Direct Report: Communications Director
Work Schedule: Full Time
 
Position Summary 
This role will oversee and execute all videography and manage the Production Department at Summit Park Church. This individual will bring creative storytelling to life, enhance the SPC worship experience through videos and production, and build and maintain a healthy volunteer culture for production and videography teams.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
 
Videography

• Create, produce, and edit video content for services and events
• Work closely with our Ministry teams to create concepts that enhance our weekend experience and social media platforms
• Develop and execute campaigns to support church initiatives and values
• Shoot & edit video content and ability to carry out all phases of a production (pre-production, production, and post-production)
• Identify and explore new opportunities for content creation
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools
• Manage and care for provided equipment

 
Production Director

• Oversee the proper operation of audio, lighting, media, and video broadcast equipment during services and events
• Oversee and schedule FOH volunteer positions
• Build team and recruit volunteers to serve on the production team
• Develop and train production team volunteers to assist in running production needs for various services [weekend, events, etc]
• Create and model a culture that strives for excellence and regular improvement
• Seek out and implement new technology and resources that improve worship experiences
• Troubleshoot and fix any issues that may arise during worship experiences or during the week
• Prepare and manage ProPresenter and media computers
• Communicate and work with worship leaders to execute weekend services with excellence

 
Qualifications and Skills:

• Experienced with: 
  • Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Professional video and photo equipment
  • Motion graphics
  • On location studio and lighting
  • Filming, editing, and delivering a variety of projects.
• High attention to detail
• Great time management skills & ability to work under pressure
• Proactive ability to problem solve
• Some experience in graphic design
• Proficient in video editing
• Passion for filmmaking and story telling
• Team leadership skills to lead volunteers and ensure successful and impactful services/events
• In-depth knowledge in audio, video, lighting, and systems management
